Attempt to contact the SKIPPER of the vessel or his/her family members using the phone number listed under the persons on board section of the Float Plan. Ask if anyone at that number has heard from anyone aboard the vessel.
Continue only if you still have concern.
Attempt to contact the PASSENGERS of the vessel or their family members using the phone numbers listed under the persons on board section of the Float Plan. Ask if anyone at that number has heard from anyone aboard the vessel.
Continue only if you still have concern.
Attempt to contact the CONTACTS as listed in the bottom of the Float Plan. Ask if anyone at that number has heard from anyone aboard the vessel.
Continue only if you still have concern.
If you still have concerns for the safety or wellbeing of the vessel, dial 911.
Tell the dispatcher that you are "reporting a boat overdue for check-in" or that you are "reporting a marine safety concern", the dispatcher will instruct you.
